Every booking with Martyn includes a free consultation, where you can discuss all of your ideas before the big day. Martyn can also play your choices of music to you live via Skype, just to give you an idea how things will sound.
Martyn can also bring his stage piano and PA, arriving in plenty of time before the event to set things up properly in an area of your choice.
Although he has an extensive repertoire, he will play your choice of music for the entrance, signing and exit, as well as learn any other requests at no extra charge. Martyn can play literally any style or song on the piano, from Vivaldi to Van Morrison!
During the wedding ceremony, Martyn’s playing will create a romantic ambiance from the instant your wedding guests start taking their seats until you exit down the aisle as newlyweds.
For the drinks reception, Martyn can play more of his ‘up-beat’ repertoire, complimenting the more lively atmosphere that comes as guests start having a celebratory drink or two. This is usually the time you and the photographer can start taking some professional shots at various areas in and around the wedding venue.

Wedding @ Sopwell House, St Albans, Hertfordshire
Martyn was asked to perform at a drinks reception at Sopwell House for Hollie and her husband-to-be.
Hollie had some idea of the music she wanted to hear during this part of her wedding, but felt a chat via Skype with Martyn would be best, just to run a few ideas by him, and hear how a couple of songs would sound on the piano.
Hollie wanted to hear repertoire by Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and some jazz standards.
A nice eclectic mix to cater for all her guests.
On the day, many of the older guests were clapping along and listening to Martyn play, particularly to the Frank Sinatra numbers!
